Hi
I am a little worried after reading the comments of other threads, so thought I'd ask for your opinions on mine. Hubby convinced me to book Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure on top of what we already have booked (my son loves Spiderman!) but I think this may have topped us over the edge! Anyway, too late now as everything is booked so here is my plan:
Arrive 3pm ish 3rd May - do nothing
Friday 4th - food shopping, settle in, look around - no parks
Sat 5th - Animal Kingdom
Sun 7th Magin Kingdom - go early, leave 4ish
Mon 7th - Magic Kingdom again, go 1ish, stay for dinner till 9ish
Tue 8th - no parks - exploring / chilling
Wed 9th Disney Studios
Thurs 10th - Discovery Cove (daughter swim with dolphins - consider this a rest day
Fri 11th - Universal Studios
Sat 12th - Epcot 1ish to 9pmish
Sun 13th - mothers day USA - me and mother go shopping - woohoo! Kids and hubbys play at Villa
Mon 14th Busch Gardens
Tue 15th Islands of Adventure
Wed 16th Seaworld
Thur 17th Fly home - 7pm - so chill and explore for the day
WHAT DO YOU THINK?

If it was me........ I would do food shopping the day I get there - then it's out of the way (leave kids at villa - with an adult!!)
I would also go to Seaworld on the first full day. It's a gentle park with lots of sitting down if you want which means you have the day before you leave free to go to places (shops!) you might have seen on your travels.

I would do your food shopping on the first day as well.Watch the popular parks at the weekend as they get really busy

It looks good, try and get to the universal parks for opening, they usually open about 20mins earlier than posted, in IOA u can do the most popular rides first by going Hulk, Spidey, Bluto, JPRA, DD, then into seuss island

Defo do shopping the day you arrive ,if doing it your way i would feel i was wasting a day of my holiday.

Are you not keen on the water parks?
You've got two 7th's! Makes it more difficult to check against EMH charts.
What park tickets did you get and where are you staying (LBV/Villa/Disney?)
We leave on 8th but don't think we cross paths as per your plan. Mine's on as Andersons Orlando Overture if you want to look. I got very few comments so hope that means it's looking ok!
Did you book any ADR's yet?
We're all getting v excited now and there's still 40 pays to go!

Just looked at undercovertourist.com's Busy Day Guide. Mon & Sun are 2 of the busiest days at MK so you may want to swap one of those for a different park; same for Epcot on a Sunday and IOA on a Tuesday so you may want to do a little reshuffle. Have a look here (http://www.undercovertourist.com/united-states/florida/orlando/attractions/when-to-visit.html) for the guide.
We're there from 5th - 19th May! See you there!

if you want a chill out day try the Disney water parks Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach
On your Animal Kingdom day as it shuts earlier than the others=why not visit Downtown Disney - lots of shops, restaurants etc
have a great time:wavey:

To be honest we're not bothered about water parks, I think you can get just as much fun going on splash mountain etc. What is an EMH chart? I have got tickets for the 4 WDW parks, Universal & IOA, and then a combined Discovery Cove/Busch/Seaworld.
I am staying in a Villa. Think I'm more excited than the kids. I've been watching the DisneyWorld DVD over and over!
Haven't booked any ADRs yet - though am planning to do a couple. One at Bahama Breeze for my anniversary (I got married in the Bahamas, so it's as close as!). Any recommendations?

You could try to get an ADR for the Rose and Crown at Epcot for around 7.10pm as you may land a table on the terrace, giving you a great view of Illuminations!
For MK, dinner at Crystal Palace (buffet) with Pooh and friends always comes highly recommended or maybe the Liberty Tree Tavern with Minnie, Pluto etc?
Have a look at allears.net for menus.

Agree with everyone else and your revised plan - shop on day of arrival.
I think I would spend my rest days at a waterpark, tho.
Not sure how old your kids are, but they might get a bit bored with a whole day of hanging around/shopping.
Check out the Bahama Breeze site - I don't think you can book tables there, but I could be wrong.
We went to the BB at LBV. Its our fave restaurant. Going on a week night should not be too much of a problem. We went during the week but got there about 6ish - no wait. Then we went on a Saturday, but got there a bit later. We had to wait that time, but sat outside and had our starter before being called in to our table.
Have a fab holiday!

Hi, revised list looks great....would consider your wed chill out day...your at DC next day..and that is a fabulous day out and SOOOO relaxing too......what about a half day out to Gatorland..not everyones thrilling place..but for a first timer ...seeing ALLIGATORS!!!!!! close up..is worth a few hours....then on to a movie...( see a Blockbuster MONTHS!!! before it hits the UK ) or..browse around Downtown Disney as there is a Movie theatre there and a Virgin Megastore..and some nice resturants......so much to choose..but you can change things around when your there...as it can become quite a trashing holiday.....your feet will be killing you!!!!!!!

Excellent! Race you to the baggage claim! Are you staying in a Villa or hotel?
Thanks to everyone else, looks like I've got it nailed, just about. I have got a 7 day theme park pass for Disney - will this allow me to visit the water parks? When I booked it, the offer was a 4 day, plus 3 days free base ticket.
