I had 2 ordered from Shirley for the kids, but they were put on the Disney Magic by mistake (we were on the Disney Wonder !). :cry:

yes, this was one of the lovely Shirley's (The Perfect Gift) gifts she did specially for Mark. :) She put beer, nuts, sweets, massage oil, a beer cooler, Mickey toy, photo album, bottle opener....can't remember what else. You can give her a theme or can tell her exactly what you'd like. She's absolutley fantastic...I'm so sorry yours did not work out...I've never heard of that before and I bet she was really upset! Bet you were disappointed too! :(

It was a genuine mistake ...made by one of her staff.........ah well, worse things happen at sea :smile: To be fair when she realised what had happened she did everything she could to compensate..including an equivalent onboard credit, so the kids could pick some things from the gift shop.

You can book them ;
1/direct with DCL (a bit pricey and a bit limited) or...
2/ use Shirley from Theperfectgift company (just use Goggle to find the web address - I can't paste for some reason at the moment sorry !) who is based near the port - she can make up baskets to your own requirements, and can also include a few personal items if you want to ship them to her first.

I don't know of any others, but I have also shipped a parcel direct to the ship from a US websites (our pirate gear) and had it waiting for me when we first got access to our cabin. No problem.

Its the end cabin with balcony to the right of your sons right hand - it has an adjoining inside cabin (one of only 4 on the ship) which we have booked for my sons - didnt want them sleepwalking onto the balcony and over the edge in the middle of the night!
My parents have the balcony cabin to the left of ours.

We set off around 8.30 Michelle :) we were all so excited we couldn't wait!;)

The terminal and car park normally open around 10 to 10.30 I beleive. As you go in the building and go through security they now hand out boarding cards with a letter on, and you board in that order. You used to queue inside the terminal building to board (we were the first in the queue that time and very proud...or sad!):)

They always let on the top cabin categories first, and guests with special needs :)

I do like to get there fairly early and board asap so we can eat, sort out any bookings and then have a swim while its really quiet on board.

If you get there for port opening 10.15am you can get to board as early as 11.45am ........and start enjoying the food & the facilities (well most of them) of the ship. :thumbs-up

yes, those are the massage cabanas...we parked ourselves there so it was easy for me to find Mark after the massage!;)


I have to say Maz, we were first off the ship as I had the first massage of the day booked (think it was 9.30)...and Mark nabbed the hammocks for our group very quickly!!!;) There were other hammocks though, and we did give one of them up later!;)

Disney Wonder leaving Port Canaveral, think thats the staff pool and deck below, but someone misquote me if I am wrong. The fish restaurants to the right side as you sail out wave you off using huge white mickey hands! I can highly recommend Grills Seafood Restaurant for cheap, freshly caught seafood.

This is outside the Pirate Museum in Nassau...well worth the reasonably priced entrance fee. Make sure you have time to visit the shop & pub at the end.
The shop is great for picking up pirate night gear ....

Oh Angel those pics are fab. Just think a week today we will be there ready and eagerly waiting to board. Can't believe it's nearly time to go. Off to airport tomorrow, few days at ASMo then onto Wonder for 3 days then return to ASMo for 6 days.
