.......and he took it suprisingly well!
Was going to wait until Xmas but figured I didnt want to spoil xmas day if he flipped about it :erm:
The kids were on a sleepover so we went out for dinner and as he polished of the last of the wine and had a happy glaze in his eyes I thought Ahhh Ha... this is my chance to tell him :d:
I was worried that he wouldnt be too keen at all, but he said it actually sounded fun (I could have passed out with shock) :omg:
He asked how much it cost and I squirmed for a bit then said ''more than you would be happy with but less than you think'' I said he has always trusted me in the past to arrange all our trips and has always enjoyed himself and I wouldnt do/book anything that I knew we would struggle to pay for.
I really went on and on about the 24 hour a day availability of food which I knew would win him over, and the fact that he wouldnt have to drive anywhere and could really relax - I think it worked ;)
He was fine about it thank God, and we have decided to still keep it a secret from DD's until Xmas :D
It was quite funny, as we were on our way home I asked him what went through his mind when I said that 'I have done something that you might not be to happy with'
He said 'I didnt know but had a fair idea it involved you spending money' :pgig:
