Suggestions for Gift basket items.......

I really want to suprise DH and DD's with gift baskets in our stateroom, I think I am going to go through Shirley as the choice on DCL website is a bit limited.

What items would you suggest go in a treasure chest basket for DH?

And for DD 11 (loves minnie) and DD 11 (loves jasmine)

I didnt want anything to bulky such as bath robes due to packing restrictions and getting them home!

Also, is there such a thing as a mickey soft toy in a DCL ships captains uniform?

Hi there,

What about a small bottle of wine or beer and some snacks like crisps/pretzels etc for your DH, I really like the idea of the binoculars that Shirley advertises, especially good if you are having a verandah. I know they do sell Plush Captain Mickeys onboard as my DD bought a plush Captain Minney but not sure if you would be able to get it in the gift basket as I don't know if you can buy it anywhere other than on board.
Other ideas for DD (depending on their age) might be sand toys, princess goodies, colouring books, sweets, snacks etc or for older kids maybe a bag, disposable camera or snorkel set.

Good luck deciding, I am sure they will love whatever you get..

yes, a 'captain mickey' would be great, also do the same for key rings etc....how about a few beers or wine for DH, plus bottle opener and beer/wine cooler, with nuts, cookies and pretzels......Shirley will match a theme...eg Pirates, if you like.

You can also email her for ideas too, she's brilliant at coming up with suggestions :)

Shirley is from a place called ThePerfect Gift based in Port canaveral and they make up and deliver gift baskets to cruise ships (among other things). her web site is here...

If you email here she will make up baskets of almost anything! DCL also supply their own cruise baskets as do many other companies on the web. Shirley is somebody some of us have used in the past and can recommend :)
