Has anyone used the Pal Mickey while at any of the Disney Parks? I bought one for my daughter off of ebay and am courious about what to expect with this toy or did I just waste my money?:mickey2:

I got one for my birthday whilst on holiday last year and he was great fun! He'd chat away and play games (which DD loved) and the information he gave was really interesting, especially in Epcot and Animal Kingdom!
We will be taking him away with us again this year!
I would love one if any one has one to sell ? I will get one there if i can sneak it under DH radar !

they have them for sale on ebay. some of them even come with a pin trader jacket for Mickey to wear. They cost less than they do in the parks.

Pal Mickey is great fun, he will keep you entertained while waiting in line and he has some useful info about the parks. Keep some spare batteries with you, they are expensive in the parks.

We bought PalMickey way back when they first came out and you could rent them as well as buy. It is great fun but I stupidly threw the box away with the attachment pin so poor Mickey spends his days with a strap round his neck being choked!! I also find myself talking to him when he comes up with comments and he can be at bit off putting if you are in the middle of something and he chimes up to tell you the parade is about to start! but I love it and will take him back next visit. Well worth the money
I can get one for $60 on ebay is that alot less not sure how much they are ?

I think $60 is about the right price for inside the parks! If it's used I wouldn't bother, however if it's brand new it might be a consideration if the postage isn't high.
If you wait til you get there you can get him dressed in different outfits. I'm sure they do a regular mickey and dressed in his scorcers (sp?) outfit.

I would wait and get one you know is working correctly from the parks....also having one now wont be much fun..... he really only comes to life in the parks. at home he just tells jokes and sings!
