I have noticed on a few threads the mention of a Character Breakfast on DCL. Is this part of the Dining Rotation or do you book separately, and do they do it on the 3 night?

That's a point - do you have a dining rotation for breakfast or just go where you want. I'm a tad confused about this dining thing and may well starve to death if I can't figure it out ;)

I don't think that they do the character breakfasts on the 3 day cruises, just the 7 and over.

That's my understanding too - but there are plenty of opportunities to 'greet' the characters on all the cruises.

Thanks for that. In reality DD's are either too old (11) or too young (1) for characters so this will be better for us.

Breakfast is either at Beach Blanket (self serve cafe type)or Parrot Key which in my opinion is better as you have a server!!
No character B'fast on 3 nighters.
Don't be surprised if your 11 yr old suddenly loves the Characters again-Our 12yr old son surprised us as he loved them all, especially showing them to his baby brother (21m). Our son even came back to us at one point & said "Iv just queued for 20 mins to have my photo taken with Mickey"-I didnt believe him till I saw the Fab photo that night in Shutters!!
It now has pride of place in my lounge!
The rotation dining is great, different restaurant & menu each night really was lovely. My Fav was Tritons where I had Duck & it was So yummy!!

You can also eat breakfast at Lumiere's/Tritons too :) It's a 'proper' table service affair and DH says the eggs benedict are wonderful....I love their pancakes personally :)
