Cruise arguments

DH and I have just had our first cruise-related argument. He is fed up with me going on and on, (and on, and on ;) ) about it and is worried that my head may well explode with excitement long before we actually set sail.

I have now been banned from talking about it and adding "but I don't care 'cos I'm goin on a cruise!" to the end of every conversation we have. Miserable git!! :nonono:

I am lucky that my DH is as excited about the cruise as I am (well maybe not as much as me ;)) DD however, well that's different story!

We're not telling DD so I can't even bend her ear about it!!

(Obviously we will tell her at some point before boarding...the jury's still out as to exactly when though....)

Tell him you have cancelled it, so won't have to mention it ever again.... so there. ;)

LoL!!! I know what you mean tho - not that it was about a cruise but my DH said i would totally ruin his and our DS holiday and there will no surprises if I continually talk talk talk Disney and parks and rides and 'guess what' conversations.......in the end I had to shut-up cos he was saying he didnt really fancy going anymore!!?:(

My DH gets even more into it than me (if that's possible) so I'm lucky.......I have to stop him booking more cruises! (tho I don't try too hard!;))

Well if I booked him in a tug boat that was being dragged along behind the ship he would have something to say wouldnt he:omg: The excitement of going on something like this should be enhanced by discussing what you want to do when you get there. Good job we have each other on The Dibb to discuss it with isnt it!!!

My DH is just same, not bothered as he knows I'm the holiday organiser!
He wasn't really bothered about the Cruise, it was MY treat to myself for my 40th, but since coming back even he's said he loved it & may even do another one day-I'm working on that one!!
He does however LOVE Florida & all that goes with it, even been looking over my shoulder lately at Dibb!!
