We like to visit Magic Kingdom on the first day! I don't feel like i'm truly in Disney until i'm walking down Main Street!
We book an 8am breakfast at The Crystal Palace so we are in the park before it opens and can take lots of pictures before the crowds arrive!

We always start with AK as it is the quickest to do and as you get up so early on the first day it is a good start to get a fast pass for Everest and then go see the animals on the Safari as they hide in the shade as it heats up.

We always start some were easy going like Seaworld. Did MK in 2005 and it was a big mistake as DD to tired to enjoy it. We should be doing KSC this year if the shuttle takes off on that day as stated in their launch schedule.

Seaworld for first day. We stay on I Drive so it's about 10 mins up the road on the trolley. Great relaxing day, do Dining with Shamu too. Have a good look round the place, have a few tipples in the Bud hospitality suite, then go back the middle weekend, and spend another relaxing day.

Depending on which day of the week our 1st day falls on - we start in one of the parks which is shown as bewing the 'lightest' in my trusty Brits Guide.

Nothing makes for a better start than beating the queues IMHO! ;)

It's become a tradition with us to go to Seaworld first.
We find this park is more relaxing, and it eases you in gently, as there are a lot of shows to watch.

We like to do Magic Kingdom on our first day because your disney holiday dosn't feel real without a trip to cinderellas castle on the first day.

I'm with you Jennifer. There's nothing like the going to MK and getting the first glimpse of the castle it really is magic and brings the holiday to life

Another for MK - we always do this first day - as others have said, it makes it real walking up Main St :mickeybou :mickeybou :mickeybou

It would be either Epcot or Magic Kingdom depending which bus came first.;)

Another vote for Seaworld from me! It's a nice relaxing day and usually closes earlier than the other parks so we can get our heads down early and prepare ourselves for Epcot the next day!

We always go to visit Magic Kingdom on the first day!

Going over on the ferry and seeing the castle when you go around the corner, isn't that where all the magic comes from!!!!!
