ride phobia

my mum has ride phobia which means , when we go she always has to stay off the rides and leaves me katie and dad on the rides, its sad not having her on the rides so which rides could we all go on without her getting sick :o: :cry:

sounds a bit like my mum. She did get dragged on Big Thunder mountain by my kids before she could think about it. she thought it was ok and wouldnt do it again - yet the last time we went she went on the Splash mountain and found it ok! She also went on the teacups with the threat of death if we spun it too quickly!!

maybe if she goes on the little/kids rides and builds up would that help?

Oh well there are plenty of other stuff I bet she would enjoy, my mum is the same when we went when I was a kid. She almost had a heart attack on Big Thunder Mountain :pgig: :pgig:

I'm sure she enjoys herself just as much without going on the rides and having a heart attack.

I'm terrified of heights and hyperventilate and allsorts at just the thought of going on anything major so I sympathise with your Mum. I can do TOT and RnRC but that's as far as I'll go!

My son at 14 won't even do those, or even Splash so your Mum is doing better than him! I just leave him to do his own thing whilst we're riding.

As long as she's happy waiting for you all I think I would just leave her to it. I know I get really on the defensive if the people I'm with try to keep getting me to go on things that I know will terrify me.

Anyways, it gives her an opportunity to have a wander round and look at the shops or other sedentary things whilst your on the rides.
