Soarin' is a lovely ride, don't miss it, but do use Fastpass or get there early as lines can get very long for this one.

You've definately got to do this. I'd agree get a fastpass early cause when we went to get one they had ALL gone for the whole day!!!!!!!
Jacqui
Fastpass a must unless you are really lucky (probably would need to get to the ride very soon after it opens. Doesnt that say something about the ride?
Its not a thrill seekers dream but was fun I thought.
We all love this ride you should definately try it.

I love this ride but agree, make sure you get a fastpass.

Do it it's really good, like everyone else says get a fast pass as soon as you go into park. We made the mistake of going in the afternoon and were too late to get on, so we had to go back another day. It's well worth a go though.

Ok.....im preparing to be flamed lol :nonono:
Soarin was erm.................ok ? Im glad i done it but my DH and sons were very bored. They asked me what the hype was about. I enjoyed doing it but i wont do it again.
We used the EMHs to ride it and managed to get on the front row which was good as i had read reports about seeing feet dangling about above you and spoiling it slightly. It was a nice ride to see and get out the warm July sun.
On the way out the queues were very long so i would recommend using your fastpass or going there as soon as park opens.
As long as you remember Soarin is not a thrill ride and more of an informative ride i would say then you wont be disappointed, my lot prefer thrill type rides.
Go see it, i think everyone should experience everthing Disney has to offer at least once.

I had really looked forward so much to this ride because I had heard all the hype. I'm glad we didn't have to queue long for it in January, because to be perfectly honest I was really quite disappointed. I knew enough to ask for the top row, but still it didn't do for me what it did for others. I know I'm in the minority.
I love it, but then I'm not a thrill-ride sort of person.
If Alton Towers is your idea of fun, Soarin' might not be for you. However for those of us who prefer to keep our lunches where we put them :) then it's a fabulous, exhilarating, wondrous experience. Think of the best Cinema-360 experiences and then double that by having you actually move (gently) with the flow of the film.
Another thing to note is that it's not very long given the queue length, but I certainly wouldn't miss it when in Epcot.

A nice ride for everyone young or old, wouldn't queue for more than 20 min though, get a fastpass to be safe cos it is v popular.

Fast past is a must on this ride, as it get's really busy, but don't miss it, it's a fab ride.
You must do it, as I believe that you have to try something to be able to comment on it.
Personally think it was complete overhyped pants and will not rush into doing it ever again - but then I am a thrill seeking type!

If you have to queue for more than half an hour i'd say don't bother....it's rather mediocre.

We queud for almost an hour - this was just after New Years Eve 2006.
It was good, but theres nothing to see when you wait - some videos etc would've been nice.
I thought the ride was good, but made me feel a bit motion sick. I will go back on it again, but with a FastPass.
It always amazing me how the brain can be fooled by these simulators.
Definately a must do whilst at Epcot! As previously mentioned do it earyl or get your fast pass - it gets busy. Try and get front row - did it twice and first time was on 3rd row and had legs dangling in front of me slightly spoiled the experience, 2nd time front row a lot better.
:tinkani: :tinkani:
Definitely a must ride, but you will need a fastpass
Fabulous ride, not to be missed. :-)

I'm afraid I don't think it's anything special, it's okay but not a "must do" ride in my opinion. Do it if you've got a fastpass but I certainly wouldn't queue for any lenght of time.
It's a good ride, well worth the wait (or fastpass!)

One of the best rides we went on, we were lucky enough to be given dream fastpasses in Epcot which meant we went straight on Soarin because the queues were huge. Enjoy it !!!! Penny
:) :) :) It is one of my favourite rides in the park and I am a pure Magic Kingdom girl, there is nothing like the sensation of soarin' over the ocean with the smell of the sea and feeling the wind on your face. Are you getting the idea that I love this ride?
As everyone else said I would get a fastpass while you are waiting for your time to come up we usually go and ride Test Track:wave:

not to be missed!!!
has anyone else ever noticed the bugs landing on the screen though? lol
Top top ride but the loading times are awful; even with a Fastpass it can take over 20 minutes to actually get on it. Little wonder it's always 60+ minutes on the standby line.
Has to be the front row as well as the effect is somewhat spoiled by having a pair of size 12's dangling down in front of you :d:
