Has anyone done the passport thing through Epcot, where you get it stamped in each country of world showcase. I only know about it cos there was a little video on you tube where they did it.:confused2

Me & DS didn't do it last year, but we think we will this time. :thumbs-up

DD has done it twice and really enjoyed looking for the areas were they stamp your passports! The CM's also write the childs name and a little message (usually in that Countries language) in the books! They make an interesting keepsake! On completion of the passport you're given a little poster!

We are going to do it this time as we feel we didn't make the most of Epcot last time we were there

I did this in 2001 (yes I did it I may be 27 now but I am still a big kid!) and you do see parts of Epcot that you would not normally venture into it is a really great keepsake though and I may even do it again when I am there this year! :pgig: :pgig: :pgig: :pgig:

Their official title is called Kidcot Funstops - not the catchiest of titles I know, but - and were introduced in response to guest feedback stating that little'uns were just not engaged by Epcot.

So do you by some kind of book and get it stamped if you dont use a mask. Were firsttimers...

Did this with the kids last year, took two attempts.

With the passport you buy that and take it to the Kidcot stops in each country, and as someone said previously you get a poster when they are all completed....

The masks are free but I find them a pain to lug around after awhile, whereas passports just pop in the pocket..

How much does it cost and is it small enough for me to ask someone to bring one back so it can go in my daughters bag of surprises for the plane.

My children are 10 and 13 would you say they were to old to do this as i wanted to do it for my scrap book but dont want to look daft if it is only young children doing it. :)

Me & Ds are going to do it and he's nearly 14! We don't care if we look daft:d: last year in MGM both he & I were doing Power Ranger poses with the characters. If there's one place you can act the kiddy its Disney ... guess that's why we love it :pgig: :pgig: :pgig:

When we went in 2004 we bought the passports from a shop before you go through the turnstiles into EPCOT itself, the passports came with a badge and a set of stamps/stickers to stick into the passport. I think you can also buy them at other shops within the park as well. Sorry I can't remember how much they were, but I am sure that they weren't that expensive though. My kids loved finding the stands in each country to get the passport stamped.

I am sure they sell them in every 'country' well they used to .. we have one that DD did years ago, had a great time doing it and had a chat with each CM ..

DD (5) did this when we went last April. She enjoyed it although it was a very hot day and she got a bit bored in the end so it was up to me to try and find the place to get it stamped. We got ours from the Mouseketeer shop. I think DD was a bit young but would be better for bigger kids.
