Theres a lot of videos on YouTube (as mentioned in the last post)

I find putting keywords in the Search box usefull

e.g. mummy ride orlando unversal
or disney pirates ride orlando wdw

stuff like that tends to bring back more relevant results. I could bore you with the technology behind search engines (as I is a computer geek, erm programmer!) but suffice to say the Search engine fairies just look for specific words. It doesnt care what order etc most of the time.

I rode the Mummy ride in Universal Hollywood a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was poor, very short and not many effects.
I've just watched the You tube video Sarah posted of Universal Orlandos Mummy ride and it looks completely different. There are far more special effects and animatronics than the Hollywood ride.
Cant wait to ride the Orlando one now.

I really love this ride!:D I watched the You Tube link and it was good apart from the half wit shouting 'Yeah Baby!' Why does someone always feel the need to shout out stupid things on rides:mad2:

The Revenge of the Mummy in Hollywood is completely different than the Revenge of the Mummy in Orlando. They have different story lines, different effects, and a different coaster.

the mummy ride is awesome, the special effects are just incredible, everything looks so real. the actuall rollercoaster part however was a bit plain, a loop or corkscrew would've finished it off nicely lol

I've been on both the California version and also the Orlando version and have to say the Orlando ride is so much better, not sure why they didn't make identical versions but the CA one is very tame and seemed a bit disjointed and short, I have read they are updating it though soon.

I rode the Orlando ride when they did a soft opening in 2004, first ride some of the effects were switched off but the second time it was all OK and was superb, I did try for a third but it broke down for 2 hours!

This was my favourite ride of all. We've just got back, and thinking of this ride is making me wish I was back there! We even left IOA early to have another ride on The Mummy!

I know what you mean!!! I can't wait to go back but it's another year to wait!! I almost don't want to go because it means having to come home and face that depression  God I have the Orlando bug bad!
