We have booked for July and weren't told about different sessions.:confused2
I wonder if it's worth phoning or emailing to find out, although we are planning to spend the whole day in the park, so it doesn't really matter.

......Will be watching this thread with interest.

They don't always do a second session - it depends on how busy it is. You don't find out the time of the meal until you check at guest services when you arrive on the day at the park

We were there in October 2005 and sitting 1 was the only sitting and it was 5pm. Going again this October and have sitting 1 again...

The layout is such that everyone is more or less poolside. They are only 2 tables deep. When we were there in 2005 our table was designated and we were right next to the water - I assumed that they were done in order of booking but could be wrong.

We go in December and they have one sitting and it's 4pm, I think they differ from season to season. You'll only find out when you get there. it's the best thing to do while you are there. We do it every time.

You sit around a pool with a couple of whales in , with a trainer. You get up close, better than just being in Shamu Stadium. You get an all you can eat buffet, plus drinks, and the food is really nice. We've done it three times now! You get to see the whales performing, and get to ask the trainers questions. If you get a table up front you can nearly touch the whales they are so close. There might be about 100 people in at one time, so not too many. If you go on to www.seaworld.com , go to the Orlando park page, and go to booking tickets page, you'll find out all you need to know there. My advise book now, and have a great time. I paid about £72 for three adults and a child. Well worth the money.

You book via the Seaworld website (a great place to get Seaworld tickets as they often have multi visit tickets for the price of one day ones etc). You pay when you book.

What happens is you go to the guest relations desk on the day to find out what time the meal is. At that time you have to be at the Dine with Shamu area next to the main Shamu stadium, you are seated as a group on a patio area which is right next to a smaller pool behind the Shamu stadium one, seperated by a low wall. It is a self-serve, all you care to eat buffet with a pretty large range of foods. You get free unlimited Pepsico and Annheuser-Busch drinks. You are asked to leave a tip as it is not included in the ticket price already paid.

Edit: Motty posted as I was typing!!
