Hi Lindabelle,
Congratulations on the baby, I trust you are all well.
This is a difficult question as I don't see many "gentle" rides about the parks.
I would obviously say MK for the little ones, you can get a reasonable mix between some nice rides, Winnie the Pooh, Small World, Jungle Cruise whilst the older ones could go for Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain etc.
For the other parks, well perhaps baby would just be happy being pushed around whilst watching the world go by.
I hope you all have a Fantastic time.

We took our 9 month old grandson in November last year - we had a really great time!! CJ loved the characters. His mum (my DD of 26) and his aunty (my DD of 21) were with us too. Some rides we split up with - DD's together while we had cj then swopped.
Rides we did together and CJ enjoyed were
its a small world
winnie the pooh
great movie ride
people mover
jungle cruise
haunted mansion!!!
he also loved a lot of the shows
beauty and the beast
stunt show
indiana
fantasmic

make use of the baby centres in all the parks - they are great!!!
any specific questions please feel free to get in touch
We had my then 9mth old niece with us on a trip in Oct 2000. She was a joy on the trip and miles easier to mind than her 3 and 5 yr old cousins. She was quite happy to sit and watch, she seemed to be captivated a lot of the time by the music, sounds and colours and she slept undisturbed in her buggy when she needed to.
We brought her on the same rides that FloridaHippy listed with no problems. I suspect that a baby who has started walking would be more difficult as they would (naturally) want to get out of the buggy sometimes.
Roisin had a special UV suit that had been sent to her by relatives in the US to wear. It was white and went to ankles/wrists/neck, material almost like a light rain mac. Looked most uncomfortable but it stayed cool inside even when it was really hot, definitely helped keep her cool and comfortable.

The first tiem i visited WDW was when my kids were 3 and 1.
I had an absolute brill time watching their faces and sometimes i miss that now they are 18 and 16 this year when we go.
We done MK, MK and MGM only - obviously coz AK wasnt there :tounge:
Also in our pasrty the first time was a 15 and 13 year old. Its was no problem at all, then the older kids went on rides we either baby swapped or just sat it out and chilled with our youngers ones or headed off to a play area for them.
Dont let it daunt you the thought of going with a young child, it will be brill. My only thing im now glad of is not having the extra stuff to carry around, nappies etc.
Good Luck
We are taking our 1 year old ds as well as dd who is 3. I think that ds will love it and I am not worrying, they usually don;t venture out of the buggy too much when it is really hot. We have a lot of family going as we are getting married there as well but some days we will go just the 4 of us. It will be ds 1st birthday when we are there so we want to have a special meal too.
Ihave also taken a 1 year old - they are quite happy in the buggy watching the world go by, but there are lots of rides in the Disney parks that are suitable for all the family, in fact only 3 or 4 rides in each park are not suitable for a baby (basically the big headliners)
I am not so sure about the Universal Parks but again I am sure the baby will be happy just out with the family watching the world go by.

Hi, we have a similar prob as when we go our kids will be 17, 12 & 3. I'd recommend Busch Gardens - plenty of wild rides for the older ones & the little one will be fascinated by the animals. This is one of my favourite parks & def caters for all ages.
Good luck - hope you have a great time!

We took our ds last year at 11 months and he loved it, we just stuck to the Disney parks and had a fab time. I would highly recommend getting a hippychick, if you haven't already seen them they are a belt that has a seat on them and it was a godsend. we used it all the time especially whilst waiting for rides and when watching parades. They are suitable from 6 months to 3 years and take alot of strain out of carrying children.;)

My daughter was 13 months old, first time she went and I have to admit, we did more rides at Universal than Disney. She adored Seusse Landing in Universal, but in Disney I can't really remember her doing any rides. She loved The Lion King show and danced all the way through, and roared with laughter. Seeing Mickey mouse was a bit daunting at first, but she got used to them all and loved it. Have a good time while you are there. We are there again in December and she'll be 3 so I'm really excited about this time.

Just back & our lo is 20 months-He loved it, especially meeting all the characters-He wasnt scared at all of them although one 'Cast member' did upset him as she was so loud & bossy(in wrong job I think!)
He did take acouple of days to get used to the time difference-Woke up a few mornings at 4am, but then settled into routine-Until now we're home, having trouble getting him into bed at night!!
