Hi guys
1) What are queues like in October time (5th to 19th)
2) Will our son (will be 4 1/2 in oct) be able to go on most rides in the parks and water parks? I dont want him to feel he's missing out cos he can't go on with the older kids?
Thanx in advance xx

Can't help with queue levels in Oct sorry as never been then, but there will be plenty your DS can do. You can check the height requirements of the rides on this site but at that age he should be able to do most of the rides. The only thing which may restrict him is how scary they are. For example, our DD is big enough to ride the Mummy, but I wouldn't let her on it because it would scare the pooh out of her :omg: Our DS was only 2 when we went last time and we managed plenty with him, so you should be fine

Been three times in October and the crowds are not so bad... if you get to the parks first thing as they open... you can get so much done in that first hour or two..... practically empty at that time of morning and it's cooler too. Your DS will be able to join in on loads of things.

Those are the same dates as we went last year and we didn't encounter any really long queues (other than at the Food & Wine Festival).
There are plenty of rides for younger kids, he won't feel left out.

We found October to be quieter than September, the ques were short and the weather was perfect.
My son turned 4 while we were in DLP and he could ride most rides, he loved BTMR. It all depends on his height.

I am going at the same time. Been before in October and it seems to be one of the best months to go. less crowds, not so much rainfall and not too hot (although it did bit 100 degrees some days!!)

Great time to go, we always go then, the queues are not bad , the weather is generally great as for the rides our wee lad is about a year older than your little one, we have always found lots of things for him to do, other than the big rides Mission Space, Space Mountain, Everest he will get on nearly everything else, it all depends on his height , you can easy check them on this website.

We went in October 2005 from the 01st to 15th, and the queues were fine ... we hardly had to wait for anything - the longest queue was for Spiderman, and we had to queue up for that twice ... first time the ride broke down and they had to close the whole ride!!! But the queues went that quick I didn't notice ...
You'll have a fantastic time - October is a great time to go ... xxx

If the queues in October are anything like september then you will be fine, the parks are quiet in late September. It will depend on the height of your little one really and how easy they scare.
We did a week in October once and you could virtually walk straight to most of the rides, the weather was very nice in the daytime and cooled off slightly by evening.
