Yes, you can have a character breakfast or dinner.
It's really nice here, we had a lovely meal and the kids enjoyed the characters.
I have just remembered it is closed till Oct 1st though.
July 9 -Oct. 1, 2007: 1900 Park Fare will be closed for refurbishment. The Grand Floridian Café will be the “new home” for the Supercalafragalistic Breakfast and Cinderella’s Gala Feast during this downtime.

We are also thinking of this one for our first week if we get the free dining direct with Disney.
I know during the refurb the meal will be at the GFC and it will also be pre-plated not a buffet.
The breakfast is with Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter, i think other characters have also appeared.
The dinner meal is with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzi and Perla the mice and the Fairy Godmother greets you in the lobby.
We might give the breakfast a try. I prefer the characters at the dinner but not keen on the pre-plated dinner, breakfast i imagine will be standard american fare.

Yes they do breakfast and dinner there. We did dinner and Belle, Cinderella and the mice were there. Food is nice, slightly posher buffet than normal and healthier options for the kids.
Very nice!

Hiya
At breakfast here last May and it was fantastic. Food was fab but the character interaction was brilliant
We had Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Alic and Mary Poppins who freaked me out, even I was convinced she was real  In the lobby we met the Fairy Godmother who was fabulous and I nearly cried when she wished my son a bibbidi bobbidi boo day!!
As it was our last day it was a perfect end to a perfect holiday.

I love 1900 Park Fare. It is my favourite character breakfast of all the ones I have done. It is often said (and I think rightly) to have the best food of all the character breakfasts. I have never seen such a spread - not even at Crystal Palace. The chilled strawberry soup is to die for as well as the hot sticky cinnamon buns and all the fruit, bowls of yoghurt, hot food ,made to order omlettes and breakfast desserts. I love the characters there as well. As well as there being Tigger, Eyeore and Pooh (at Breakfast) there is also The Mad Hatter and Alice as well as Mary Poppins in the lobby.
Im glad Im not going back this year - the very thought of not having breakfast there would be too much!
