Hi there - dining question again!!!:wavey: :wavey:
I have planned to go to 'Ohana for one evening meal whilst at WDW, using the free DDP. I have read that it is a Family Style buffet, with Polynesian singing and hula dancing, is this true?
Is the food good and can you see MK from anywhere in the restuarant? It will be DD's 8th birthday on this day and we hope to get CRT for breakfast, (fingers crossed,) so not really wanting another character meal in the evening. We also want to stay close to MK, as we will have been there all day and want to eat dinner, then return for Wishes/Spectromagic. As this will be a Saturday, I guess they will both be on. We could just hop on the monorail to The Polynesian and eat, then return.
Any other idea's/suggestions? And is 'Ohana a good choice?:wavey: :wavey:

It's wonderful there, we loved it. They do different things for the kids, hula dancing, playing instruments etc. The food is great and it just keeps on coming! :)

We have 'Ohana on our list of ADR's. We always have a meal there every time we go to Orlando. Lovely food and great atmosphere!! :tounge:
Really good food - and great fun for children; coconut races around the restaurant (pushing coconuts hockey style with brooms) :thumbs-up .

'Ohana is lovely.
We have ate here a few times. The last time was Christmas Day night. I did report with some photos of the food Here (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=81053)

Whats the thing with the salt in this place ???
Yes, lovely food and atmosphere. We sat near the window and had a good view of the fireworks over MK which was great however we were swamped with kids around our table and chairs when the fireworks started which was fine for 10 mins or so but then it got abit much as it was a table for two so with 15 kids around us we were stifled. It is a family based restuarant so as long as you are aware of this which we were it is a nice place. The only other thing I remember is that it was soooo cold in there.

My only regret about Ohana was that we didn't do it sooner. I loved it! :d:
