I know there is a review section on here but would just like to know if anyone has been to the Grosvener recently, if so any comments would be much appreciated.

We stayed at this hotel last year. It was ok handy for DTD just a 5 min walk away.

Stayed two years ago. Tower room had a fantastic view over all of Disney. Very handy 24 hour cafe in the lobby. The Murder, Mystery show in the main restaurant on the Saturday night was one of the best nights we have had in Orlando (be prepared to be seated with strangers - we shared our table with a very pleasant American couple). Very short walk to DTD.

I believe there is an extensive refurbishment planned for later this year though as it is being to look a little 'tired'.

hi we went there about 4 years ago and loved it great location would love to go there again but the family is bigger as we take the granchildren with us and we now go with friends who has timeshare and can get us our own villa that is larger for us!!

We stayed there in October '05 and it is a great location and we would stay there again (in the tower rooms) but if I could get the Royal Plaza across the road at the same price I would book this over the Grosvenor. The only thing we were'nt keen on was the restaurant, but that wasn't a problem theres hundreds around LBV to choose from!
