I need to book a holiday for my parents - they want to do an escourted tour of New Zealand that includes flights from the UK (plus stop over in Fiji on the way back if possible)

I'm having trouble find companies that do this..I have only got one quote from Virgin so far...anyone got any other ideas on other companies ?

Check the Express and the daily mail. They normally have details of things like this.

My Mum used Titan Tours and highly recommends them - she has used them many times for all over the world and never had a problem. Plus they do pick up and transport to the airport from your home address - superb service.

Kuoni have some great tours, they sent me a brochure the other day, have a look on their website. There is also a page where you can request brochures.

I have done escorted tours with Titan before and highly recommend them - they even pick you up from your house.
Another company that comes highly recommended is Travelsphere - my Mum has booked an escorted New Zealand tour with them for later in the year, and went to China with them in 2005.

We have used Travel 4 (travel4.com) twice for our OZ and NZ trips. Here you can make your own itineries for each area or go with one of their guided tours. You can add or take off bits and pieces as you like. We also used them for Canada/Rockies and couldn't fault them, with pick ups/drop offs private transfer to/from the airports. Recommended.

It's a matter of personal taste but I would avoid Fiji if possible. The sheer magic of NZ was in total contrast to the 3rd worldness of Fiji (Nadi is just plain horrible). Sure the beaches are ok if the weather is good but it's not quite the tropical paradise it is made out to be (cue Fiji worshippers shooting me down!!! :)

The Cooks aren't that much better and Tahiti is hugely expensive. How about a city break to break the flight up like San Francisco or LA. Or if going the other way, Singapore or Hong Kong?

Just thinking out loud really....
