Hi we just got back

While shopping in prime outlet's we bought an egg & toast toaster we thought it would be just a case of getting a converter for the power?
I can’t find one anywhere that sells a converter for this power type can anyone help?

The power of the toaster is
120 Vac
60 Hz
1200 W

Any help would be very welcome

You will need quite a high power converter for a toaster, make sure its rated for 1200 watts or more.

Maplin sell them, or you can usually get one from eBay, we use them for our Christmas lights, and to charge our us mobile phones before we go.

We've got some quite small converters which power appliances up to 1800 watts. However, we bought these over in Florida for around $15 and we use them to power xmas lights mainly.

I've had a search around Maplins and Ebay and haven't found anything suitable thats either small in price or size!

The problem with anything that runs on 100v is the wattage - anything that heats up is usually very high wattage and most converters will only work on 100 or 200 watts.

Keep looking around (I have definitely seen similar converters to what we have on Ebay before) but you may have to try and get one from the US (try Radio Shack as that's where we bought ours from).
