It is actually this Christmas 07. "Not this Christmas, but next Christmas" will be the title of the trip reports. When my youngest DD, 4 was asked when we were going back to Disney, her answer was of course “Not this Christmas, but next Christmas" :spin:
After much discussion we have allowed DD1BF to join us on holiday with his parent’s consent.:omg:
This is the second and final draft hopefully if all ADR’s go to plan. We have had to change a lot of the holiday, :angry: including some bookings due to difficulty of getting flights, but we got them so here goes!:grin:
Cast:
Me - 36, planner & anything Disney, no rollercoaster’s though, driver
DH - 41, rollercoaster’s, food, handy for wallet
DD1 - 15, shopping, complete wimp ;)
DD1BF - 15, first trip to USA so up for anything
DD2 - 13, rollercoaster mad, shopping
DS1 - 10, loves rollercoaster’s, lives for food
DS2 - 9, moans about anything & everything, penguin mad, hates most rides
DD3 - 5, Princess, loves rollercoaster’s
11th Dec – leave work at lunchtime, when kids get home from school, travel to Gatwick Travelodge, and dinner with DD1BF parents.
12th Dec – Fly to Tampa via Newark with Continental, arrive Tampa approx 6pm USA time, collect car hoping to arrive at villa by 8pm, dinner probably takeaway.
13th Dec – Leave villa about 8am to drive to the Keys where we will be camping at Curry Hammock State Park for 3 nights. Dinner at Chilli Willies in Islamorada.
14th Dec – Hoping to walk from the start of the Seven Mile Bridge to Pigeon Key approx 2 mile walk (depends if re-open after repairs), spend the rest of day on the beach, BBQ for dinner.
15th Dec – Spend the day in Key West, Hemmingway’s House, Little White House, Southernmost Point, and Mallory Square for evening entertainment.
16th Dec – Move camp site to Long Key State park; spend the day exploring the park, BBQ for dinner.
17th Dec – Visit Bahia Honda State Park followed by dinner at Chilli Willies.
18th Dec – Leave the Keys and head back to Orlando via Gator Park in the everglades for airboat ride.
19th Dec – MK for the day, some shopping
20th Dec – Epcot for the day, dinner at Rainforest Cafe, AK
21st Dec – AK for the day, MVMCP in the evening
22nd Dec – Busch Gardens
23rd Dec – IOA, Cat in the Hat Breakfast
24th Dec – Epcot if not finished on 1st trip, shopping, Beaches & Cream for Kitchen Sink, pool
25th Dec – BBB for youngest DD & DS’s (fingers crossed), 1900 Park Fare for lunch/dinner, MGM in evening if not too busy
26th Dec – IOA, Bubba Gump for dinner
27th Dec – Busch Gardens
28th Dec – Universal
29th Dec – Shopping, Cheesecake Factory for dinner
30th Dec – SeaWorld
31st Dec – MGM, Celebration in the evening
1st Jan – Pool, Chef Mickey’s for dinner
2nd Jan – Kennedy for all the boy’s, the girls go shopping
3rd Jan – AK, Chinese buffet for dinner
4th Jan – Pool day
5th Jan – AK, Sky Venture
6th Jan – MGM, pool
7th Jan – MK, Boma AK for dinner
8th Jan – MK, pool
9th Jan – arrive Tampa for 1.30 flight via Newark
I would like to add in dinner at Jiko and the new Yak & Yeti restuarant but we will have to see ;)
