Can anyone tell me if the good people of Orlando provide a beverage like bitter? I love love love Tetley draught bitter, Boddington's if I'm forced. As the only driver last time (Dan has since passed his test) I did not partake of a drink, although Dan bought a rather lovely single malt Jack Daniels. Anyway my drink of choice is bitter does anywhere sell anything like it? Perhaps my best chance being the Rose and Crown?:tounge:

At a premium for "import" I'd guess. $7+ at the Rose & Crown I think.

My Dad loves his Ale, and found Michelob AmberBock, i'm pretty sure it was sold in most pubs/restaurants!

Yes - try anything that has the work "bock" in it or Samuel Adams boston beer (try some in the supermarkets here before you go!).

Hi,

Try this website: http://www.pubcrawler.com/Template/SearchWC.cfm

Big River Grille seems to get some fairly good reviews about the beer if you want to stay in the Disney area.

However, if you are staying offsite, then I guess that the above site may provide some inspiration :cool2:

I like my beer and though I tend to drink the american lite beers over there, I do enjoy the AmberBock and The Samuel Adams.

Samuel Adams has a great kick to it as well! Even managed to persuade my sister to sell it in her pub!

I think the nearest I've had to bitter was Samuel Adams, Very nice and free in Boston when the Red sox won the World Series:thumb:

Yes you can get Sam Adams here.

Used to be able to get in Safeway before Morrisons took them over.

Now the only place I have recently seen it is in TGI Fridays in the UK.

By the way, I am sure the Cricketers on I drive does Tetleys and Fullers etc. They are moving in May to Festival Bay mall. "The Pub" on I 27 does ales too I think.
