View Full Version : Quality Inn Plaza - Breakfast?
Hi - has anyone recently stayed at the QIP who can give us some info on breakfast?
I've heard it's buffet style in the hotel restaurant - is this right?
What sort of things do they do?
How much does it cost?
Drinks included?
Do you pay at the time, or is it billed to your room?
Anything we should avoid? :confused2
Thanks - appreciate your help - will happily eat breakfast outside the hotel occasionally, but would like to know what we can expect onsite.
Cheers,
H.

Hi We have stayed here and its a good hotel to stay in we didnt think much of the breakfast.
We had 2 free breakfast off Virgin and we only used one. it is buffet, but Sizzlers is outside of the hotel and is better and cheaper barr far.

Yuk Yuk Yuk is all I will say to their breakfasts :(
Definately got the Sizzlers across the road instead or better than that Golden Corral further up the road :tounge:
I am not fussy but I didn't like the breakfast here. Even with the kids eating free it was dearer than Sizzler and not as nice. There are so many great places for breakfast on I Drive, there are plenty of alternatives

we thought it was ok. they have the usual selection pancakes, waffles, sausage, bacon scrambled eggs, breakfast potato, porridge, cereal, pastries etc. can't remember if the tea and juice was included in the price of not, didn't think sizzlers was any better and pondersosa is total crud!
nothing beats ihop but its a bit away and we got the i ride up to it.
hotel buffet was handy for days when an early start were required

We never tried the breakfast at all. Try Friendly's up the road - they are excellent.

Have stayed many times, but only done breakfast once.......it's better & eassier to goto sizzlers just outside.

So, how much is it?

Friendlys was half the price + much nicer. Wasnt as fond of Sizzler or Ponderosa's but they beat the hotel breakfasts.

Try their website http://www.qualityinn-orlando.com/ there might be a bit more information on there for you
When we went we emailed and asked for a brochure and we received one within weeks.

Thanks for this - had looked on their website before, but couldn't find anything specific.

Ouch - compared to so many eateries on the doorstep, I fully understand why we're recommended to go elsewhere !!!
Cheers for all your help.

We stayed at the QIP for 4 nights as part of a 11 night stay last October. To be honest there are so many breakfast options on I Drive I would be inclined to give the hotel breakfast a miss.
Good options are Golden Corral on Sand Lake Road which has always been good value and very tasty or maybe even Perkins, which is more like a Little Chef style as opposed to the buffet type...(don't let the Little Chef reference put you off though!!!).
Not a great fan of Sizzler or Ponderosa though.
