View Full Version : Character meals - do you need kids?
Hey guys a bit of a stange question. We have booked a few character meals (Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's) There are two of us (both adults) are we going to look silly without any kids? We both love the characters and I don't really care what people think but just wondered if anybody had been without kids.
Cheers

We're going to do a couple of character meals next year and we have no kids. Just want to experience the character meals for myself, I love Tigger which character meal is he at?
We've also booked CP for dinner and dont have kids, i think it'll still be fun though!
If you are like me then the kid is you - just a bit taller than the others really.

We usually have at least one character meal and most of the time it's just two of us.

We've done the brekkie at Crystal Palace at MK with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet. Dont know if Tigger goes elsewhere also! There are some beautiful topiaries just inside the entrace of all 4! :wavey:

Thanks for the reassurance guys! I'm a big kid anyway so shouldn't look too out of place.

Everyone at Disney should become a child - wear the ears , sing the songs, chase the characters for photos and autographs, believe in the MAGIC and have a great time.

Funny this... I was talking to DS 13 last night saying, I said that I hope he'll still want to have all the fun of Disney:tounge: like character meals, waving to them in parades, doing Power Ranger poses at MGM... teenagers sometimes struggle with the embarrassment!
I'm delighted to say he said 'Of course, Mum, more than ever, I'm so excited, i cant wait to have dinner with Tigger! :tiggerbou :tiggerbou
BTW he's a 5'9" Emo, who only wears black! :erm:

I've got an ADR for lunch at the Garden Grill - No kids just two big kids :tounge:
Can't wait!!
During all the character meals we went to most of the tables were kid free! So no, you wont look out of place - one of the nicest things I saw was an old couple - they must have been almost 80 years old in chef mickeys and they were so up for the whole thing, taking photos of each other with all the character etc it was great to see them having such a great time :)

I was guilty of this when we first saw minnie mouse at chef mickeys, I was totally beside myself and lept out of my chair in front of DD!
