What are we allowed to take onboard??

Hand luggage sizes and weights differ greatly from airline to airline. For example with First Choice we are allowed 5kg, but with Delta we were allowed 18kg.

You cannot take any liquids on board, this includes makeup items such as lipstick, foundation, mascara etc.

Best advice would be to check everything with Airtours.

We have just used airtours and the hand luggage size is 45cm, width of 35cm and height of 20cm

Once you are air side you can buy drinks, food etc to take on board with you. we took drinks on with us hope this helps

You can take liquids through security and then on board as long as the individual items are less than 100ml each, you need to them seal them in a clear plastic bag approx 8" by 8".

Once through security the restrictions are less as already posted.

As mentioned above in another post you CAN take liquids on board if they are less than 100ml and in a zip lock bag. Any airport website will give you the dimensions of the zip lock bag.

You can take a packed lunch as long as no liquids - so no drinks, yoghurts etc. You can buy drinks once through security so get them thre rather than paying a fortune on the plane.

Check the airport website (The one you're traveling from), the DFT regulations for hand luggage are often different from the ones stated on the individual airline websites. Airports go with DFT regulations, not the airlines.

Also, your only allowed 1 piece of hand luggage. Ladies, this includes your handbag, so don't turn up with a handbag and your 1 piece of luggage, as your likely to be turned away at central search. (try putting your handbag inside your 1 piece of luggage, as long as it's not oversize)
