i bought the nintendo ds lite console last year for my daughters birthday in US and bought the games, any country games work on the ds as it is region free.

this is what my boy's spending money will go on!!
Thank you for confirming this as there will be one happier lad going on holiday knowing this
Ta!! :)
Sometimes there isnt a lot in it, i use this site (http://www.find-games.co.uk/) to check the prices and recently go nintendogs inc postage for £17 and going via quidco got anothe £0.77 which is not to far off the $29.99 from toysrus.com. They/we have to have somegames to play during the flight;) .
Hi, reviving this thread...
I was thinking of getting a DS when I go in Oct... is there anything I should be aware of? Will it be the same as we get over here and can I just buy or get a UK charger to go with it? Sorry, dont know too much about it but dont want to get stick with something unsuitable for use here!
Thanks,

Thanks,
everything is the same and region free , you will need a uk charger or a stepdown convertor (100w) available from maplins.
Wow, thanks very much for the quick reply! :)
