Sweet tomato would suit your daughter-loads of salads etc

TBH from looking at menus quite a few of the chains don't have much veggie food. There are plenty that do though.. We have Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Sweet Tomatoes and The Cheesecake Factory on our list as well as a lot of Disney restaurants (we're on the dining plan and the Disney restaurants seem to cater best for special diets anyway) Most places would probably do any meal on the menu minus the meat or fish though, just ask

The Outback will have veggie foods for your daughter but don't bank on Tony Romas. We looked at going there last year and i viewed the menu online and couldnt find one veggie meal for me.:(

But there is plenty of choice, like others have said, Olive Garden, Sweet Tomatoes, Chilis and we love Dennys.

Don't bank on your daughter reverting back. I became a veggie when i was 14 and my dad gave me a couple of weeks, but i'm 30 this year and still veggie.:D

Oh Bruce, i am starting to think you are a closet veggie as you always seem drawn to the veggie posts.:D
I can point you in the direction of a lovely nut cutlet if you're hungry!;)

How old is your DD? Our DD became a veggie when she was 12 & we convinced her she could eat fish which made thing much easier!!!!!!!!

Her veggie period only lasted a few months & luckily for us she reverted to meat eating before our last visit to WDW. But before we went I'd started viewing restaurant menus & asking quesions on this & another Disney site.

I have just taken the plunge and turned veggie and DD 9 has decided to do the same. DH keeps saying that I will struggle over there and that I should have waited until I came back. To tell the truth I was starting to believe him so its good to hear that we will be fine.

My MIL is vegetarian and we found that most restaurants would rustle her up something suitable even if there wasn't anything on the menu.

Both my kids are veggies (one born during mad cow scare and the other during the food and mouth scare), and having eaten in Florida in the chains, they had a nice choice of food to eat. Must admit in the parks the veggie food was often quite adult though, but always a grilled cheese sandwich or margarita pizza if you are desperate.

If anyone wants proof that you can most certainly eat well as a veggie in Orlando then check out mcsue's trip reports ;)

My DD (14) is veggie and doesn't eat fish, or like eggs or mushrooms either!!!
She is surviving on not very much (mainly Oreos I think) Many of the places we've been have nothing suitable, so she has sometimes ended up with just fries or some fruit salad!!

We had this problem too as DD turned veggie, best place was pastamore at citywalk as they had about 6 veggie options, my daughter also said the veggie burger at Beaches and cream was delicious she actually thought they had mixed up her order and gave her a real burger, Bahama breeze had very little choice though, confiscos at IOA also had a few options and the meal was great

My sil is a veggie and she had no problems. Ask if there is nothing on the menu and they will come up with something.

Myself, husband and 3 kids are all vegetarian and last went to Florida in 2004 before we had our 3rd child. We had no problems finding things to eat, in fact most places we tried had at least 1 or 2 vegetarian options on the menu! I am sure that your daughter will have no problems!

At the Disney counter service restaurants, you can order a grilled cheese, it's not on the menu board but just ask when you place you're order.
