Anyone know if you can get these in Florida. If so where and how much. I refuse to pay £50 here for my DD who is 8 and will grow out of them quickly.
Jackie
Jackie, keep checking out ebay. I got a brand new pink pair for £15 for my eldest DD a few weeks ago.

Hi there!!!!
I only saw the Capezio ones in Florida in the Danskin shop which used to be up at Belz, but the shop is now longer there unfortunatly, much to my and my daughters dismay!:(
I got Paige's too off eBay, they are Capezio ones in black with bright pink stripes, very nice and very comfy and also about £15.00.
I agree with you......she will only fit them a few months so I was'nt prepared to spend a fortune!!!!

What are these?
they are dance sneakers. Basically trainers that have a split sole. i.e hard sole at front and back and flexible in the middle. Daughter does Highland Dancing and they all seem to wear them. Her teacher wears them when teaching. They look very comfortable. If you have a look at Bloch website you will see them. Lots of different colours

:wavey: Hi Anne
Do you know who seller was? Was it an ebay shop? Would love to get a new pair for £15. What size do you reckon my DD would need she is a 13/1 in normal shoes. i believe they need larger sizes than UK size. Am i correct?

Can you wear them just like normal trainers- eg for walking round WDW?

to be honest i wouldnt wear them outside. they are designed for use in a studio, with soles that don't mark the floor. if you use them outside they will get dirty and mark the floor in the studio. also, they are designed to be flexible around the arch of the foot to allow for a more exaggerated instep. it wouldnt be comfortable to walk around in them all day. these shoes are designed for dance, not for everyday wear.

As thinktink says they probably wouldn't be up to wearing outside all the time
