We're mulling over this as a possibility for one of our trips. Any info about it would be very welcome. May is a likely month so any info about weather would be helpful too,

Stayed a Hilton Head a few years ago. A very secluded resort but near to lots of restaurants (walking distance) and there is a small shopping mall not far away. The main point is there are no restaurants at Disney's HH except small snack places (day time only) at the resort and at the beach. There are lots of barbecues set up around the resort for you to grill your own. The beach house and the beach pool is a 5 min ride away, shuttle provided and is very good. HH itself has lots of shops restaurants etc and is very much a holiday place. We found it great for a short stay.

Was your entire holiday at Hilton Head or did you also do Orlando? If you drove between the two how long did it take ou to drive?

We would like to know that too please because we want to use our airmiles so would probably fly into Orlando.
