Can anyone recommend a really good place for airboat rides. I was going to go to boggy creek until someone said it was a complete waste of time, just went round the lake and didn't see much wildlife at all !! Thanx

We all loved it and my boys are hard to impress. We didnt see much widlife but it is a swamp lol, we saw Aligators albeit not huge, eagles and other birds but we had a lot of fun and its well worth doing.

We went to airboat rides down the 192 but saw not a lot only turtles and not much more. However there was a few of us and we had a great laugh.

We went on the Boggy Creek airboat ride on our first trip, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We tried a different company, different location on our 2nd trip, and the ride was much better. It was a smaller airboat - only us 4 & driver - and we saw loads more wildlife than on the Boggy Creek ride.

Unfortunately I can't remember where it was. Will ask DH when he comes in later - sorry.

We`ve gone many time and always go to the East Lake Fish Camp of Boggy Creek. Every time we`ve been there has always been plenty of wildlife to see including `gators!! It is a fabulous experience, definitely not to be missed IMHO. :-)

LOL:d:
they were sort of 'free range' cows, they belonged to a ranch nearby but them and a few horses seemed quite at home in the swamp

We would love to squeeze this in somewhere in our trip, and it would be a squeeze.

Roughly how long does it take to get to Boggy Creek from Disney? (then I'll double it cos we are sure to get lost!!!!)

We've been to both Boggy Creek sites and thoroughly enjoyed them. Obviously you can't guarantee seeing wildlife, but it seems to help if you get there good and early, and avoid weekends.

Last time we surprised a 'gator basking in the sun (if anybody tells you that 'gators can't run they're fibbing!), saw another couple of 'gators on the bottom of the lake, and finally a group of newborn 'gators with mummy watching very closely!:omg: This is all in addition to countless turtles and birds.
