I have a big court case coming up in May, and want to book a nice holiday in June/July to relax after it.

Does anyone know a good hotel somewhere sunny with a spa pool in the room or something similar? A small private pool?

In an ideal world, and one day Ill do it, I'd visit the Banyan Tree in Phuket.

Anything closer than I can get to for just a few days of r'n'r with my mobile switched off?

Thanks. AndyJ.

A friend of mine is staying in Mexico for her honeymoon and I think they have a spa pool in their room. I can try and find out where it is if you are interested.

Could be the Moon Palace in Cancun which is a lovely hotel with jacuzzi tubs in all rooms.

If you don't want to travel that far Andy have you looked into Dubai, pretty short flight and luxury hotels.

Carlisle Bay, Antigua... has a good Wireless Lan too ... I installed it...
The old ship hotel in Brighton has one in the Honeymoon suite.

I had a lovely room in Tobago - it had a private enclosed patio with a spa pool - absolute bliss. Virgin now fly direct to Tobago :thumbs-up

We stayed in the Mayfair in Coconut Grove, Miami a couple of weeks ago and all rooms had a spa on the balcony. They are renovating the pool at the moment so it wasn't available. Spa was only small but lovely and private on the balcony. Very nice hotel.

If you don't want to leave England try Moddershall Oaks in Staffordshire, very small place in the country, only 10 rooms. Hot tub outside and an excellent restaurant. Very nice for a couple of days RnR.
