I went 3 years ago and although it was good - it wasn't quite the same as Orlando IMHO. It just seems to lack a bit of the 'magic'.:pd
Still worth a visit though i would say if you are planning a trip to california. :spin:

we went it was great but nothing beats the Magic in Florida ..when you go visit Knotts berry farm lots of roller Coasters its well worth a trip,www.knotts.com
We loved Disney in California. The Magic Kingdom is smaller than the one in WDW but had lots of rides and was far more manageablae. The California Adventure is not like any of the parks in WDW and did not hve the pixie dust feeling. It was great fun though. The two parks are opposite each other and so park hopping is really easy - no waiting for buses etc to get you fro one park to another. Also Downtown Disney is about 100 yards away from either park. It is nowhere near the size of DTD in Orlando and has no Pleasure Island attached to it but it still hd everything we wanted from it.

Totally agree.
You must visit Knotts Berry Farm, it was like Disney used to be, we loved it.

Agree with all of previous views. I found some rides better and others not as good. We were there just before they opened Soarin at WDW so that was a new experience for us. DH thought Fantasmic was much better. We combined it with a trip to SF, Yosemite, Grand Canyon and Las Vegas amongst others. Not sure if there would be enough to keep you entertained for 2 weeks without any other places to visit.

We loved Disneyland in California. Yes it is smaller but that just added to its charm.
We went in July which is a very busy time of year and at times certain areas became uncomfortably crowded - such as viewing areas for Fantasmic.
Also enjoyed Californian Adventure Park which is a different experience from any of the other Disney Parks we have been to.

If you like coasters you need to head to Six Flags Magic Mountain (just north of LA), it beats all the others hands down including Busch.
