We booked a Carnival cruise with vacationstogo.com who had some good prices at the time. They gave us a very good service and price was very competitive. Haven't looked at them recently but may be worth a look.

We booked through our local Travel Agent - Travelcare for our RCI cruise for Xmas,

Apparently, this is how cruise bookings work (or so we were told). The earlier you book the most discounts are available. Most cruiseline brochures show prices either FROM or FROM and TO.

Most TA's can then get an additional 10% ON TOP OF THIS (some sometimes more, but not much) and it works out cheaper than even booking direct with the cruise line.

Have you tried your local TA, or even Val from Trave Counsellors on here - I'm sure if she doesn't do cruises she knows someone who will. Personally I much prefer to deal with a TA rather than booking on the internet, as its usually cheaper and you always have a contact person if you need it.

This is even more so with (most) cruises as you will have to choose cabins, and some can help you with this, and seating times etc.
