Hi folks

Even though we have been going to WDW for years I normally only make a vague itinary and semi stick to it.

This year however things have to be different cos of time restraints and I need help.:confused2

We fly out Oct 13th....cruise 20-27.....Kennedy 27th as we leave the ship....fly home 30th Oct.

Everything in between is a blur:confused2

We do Disney parks and Seaworld. Where is the link to tell us the park hours and the busy days and which parks have emh and lmh on which days? We are not staying onsite so need to avoids these.

My head is spinning and I havent started yet:(

People are talking about booking adrs - how long in advance can I book these? - eg if i wanted to eat at Le Cellier in Epcot on the 22nd Oct when can I book it? - is there a certain amount of days beforehand that you can ring?

help me - I'm an itinary novice!

How do you know how many days in advance it is? My countdown is 179 days - is that significant?

Thank you. Just gotta figure out where to eat now.

Someone posted a number to dial before the USA number - does anyone have this? Please give me the whole number inc codes etc cos I'm bound to get it wrong otherwise - It gets the call cheaper apparantly.

The numbe I have is 407 939 3463 - is this correct and what codes do I need before it?

check out this link http://pscalculator.net/pscalc.php

Lines open around 12 noon uk time, also when calling make sure you have a written list of your requirements and back up choices just in case.

Generally you should not need to leave a deposit but a few places will ask for them these are Cinderella's Royal Table Breakfast. You will have to leave a CC deposit of $10 per adult and $5 per child (this deposit will be deducted from your bill). Also the Fantasmic Dinner, this is taken as an image of your card and will only be taken if you are a no show and didnt cancel, you will then be charged $10 per person.

Hi, if you ring 0844 861 8686 before the disney number, you will only pay 1p a minute for the call.

Unless you are staying on-site at Disney (when you can get an extra window of up to 10 more days) ADRs can be made from 180 days in advance of your meal. I've already done all of mine for early Oct, and managed to get what we wanted with one minor exception where I had to take half an hour later, so no big deal.

I'm not normally an advanced planner either, but felt I really had to do something this year if we're to get any of the meals we want. Someone mentioned a few days ago that they were trying to book Liberty Tree Tavern for 4th Oct and couldn't get anything at all - even this far out!

I've posted a thread (CLICK HERE (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=142827)) on what we've booked, and talked through some of the logic behind how I planned it (as I at least needed to get an idea of which parks we'd be at on which days, in order to book the restaurants). As I was forced into working out our rough park days in advance, I decided to go the whole hog and do the research too. Thus I've now got a nice big spreadsheet listing all of the EMH days, touringplans.com's crowd calendar recommendations, park opening hours, special events, etc. From that I worked out an idea of the best park to visit for each day, and then booked our meal dates accordingly. We don't have to stick to it of course, but at least we shouldn't end up in the busiest parks just because we happen to have a meal booked there.

It was kinda fun working it all out to be honest, I can see where the uber-planners get it from.

Thanks Andre - I did get caught up in it all yesterday too. Once you start you cant stop!

I printed out all the october calendars, then crossed out the dates we couldnt do (cruise etc), then looked up the busy days and picked a good or ok choice, then tried to figure out the MNSSHP dates, then I had 2 anadin!

Then in the afternoon I had to put it all away cos we sold our house and got the one we wanted so I'm planning all that now:confused2 - solicitors, surveys etc etc. - pity theres no moving house planners thread on here:pgig:

I will get phoning tomorrow.
