Baseball Q

There is a major league baseball tournamant on while we are in Orlando in May. DBf was thinking of taking DS while myself & DD do something else (maybe Dixie Stampede?). How long do the games tend to last? I think they are evening games starting at about 7.30 pm. Are they for set times like english footie as we were told a game can be 2 - 4 hrs. Is this right??

The games can last for hours and what we found really unusual was that people wander about and go and get drinks and snacks throughout the game. There were also quite a few people who left before the end. It really is a lot more about the enjoyment of the night rather than must watch every moment of the sporting action, so very different to football over here in that respect.

It was a great fun evening though, I would definitely recommend it.

Definately an experience (good one), we went last year to see Tampa Bay.

None of us "into" baseball and only went because there were no other sporting matches on when we were there (July), anyway, we all really enjoyed it (myself, wife and son-14 & daughter-10).

This and Cirque De Soliel were surprisingly the two highlights we all agreed on about last years holiday, we did do all the parks also.

Talking about doing it again next year ....

I think I'd be bored after an hour, the boys will probably enjoy it though, & my DD would be moaning after 10mins! Nags you gave me an idea, maybe myself & DD will do Cirque du Soliel instead so thanks for that :d:
