Hi guys where would you say is the best place to go shopping for shoes and clothes in the Orlando area? Doesn't have to be strictly designer..I like to shop in places like the Gap, H&M and River Island in the UK..so that kind of thing.

Cheers!

We like Mall at Millenia, most of the shops are expensive but there are some reasonable ones like Zara etc.

Florida Mall is quite good as well, we were on our way to Mall at Millenia one day and the teaxi driver said that locals go there more than anywhere else, it's massive and has lots of good shopps i.e abercrombie and fitch, gap etc

Have a look on the net and it'll give you a list of the shops in each one x

Mall at Millenia for me! Breakfast at Panera Bread before the stores open then down to serious shopping. Feet and purse tattered then it's time to head for the Cheesecake factory for a late lunch. Bliss!

The Mall at Millenia is fabulous, alot of the shops are expensive but reasonable in comparison to over here. The Premium Outlet Mall can be great for named brands at cheaper prices, Ralph Loren, Reebock, Gap etc. :wavey:

The Mall at Millenia is our favourite mall, it is really lovely there. Tiffany`s and the Lindor chocolate shop are my favourites there. :-)

Florida Mall,............all the samples in the food court !

Same at Millania, you don't need to buy a meal, just walk around for an hour getting free samples shoved in your face.:pgig:

It's a matter of opinions I guess but I'd go for The Florida Mall. Don't get me wromg, Mall at Millenia was great but there were some very expensive shops - i.e. nothing has a price on; if you have to ask you can't afford it!

I'd still visit both of them though!

Have to agree with Elsie, Mall of Millenia was nice to have a walk around but for me serious shopping would be at the Florida Mall. I also got some good bargains at Premium Outlets.

my favourite has to be premium outlets, we just came home on wednesday and spent loads at premium, imo has the best shops, calvin klein, gap, banana republic, hugo boss, ralph lauren, french connection, levis, nike , lacoste, which i think is new, i got polo shirts there for $49 and $53 dollars,
we spent about 4 seperate trips to premium. :)

I'd have to agree with ScottishMum.....We went to Premium Outlets for the first time in February and my only regret is that we've never been before! It's fantastic....could've spent a fortune if only we'd had the extra space in our cases!

The best Gap outlet I've found though is at Prime at the end of the I-Drive, really must try the one at Florida Mall though.

Yep it does I spent a fortune there the first time I went to Orlando, hehe. If she likes Hot Topic she may also like Pacsun (skate/surf type brands) and Journeys (shoes) aswell.

I like all of the malls mentioned but for different things - so it depends what you want.

I really think it pays to shop around... For example, IMHO the Ralph Lauren, Nike and Adidias stores at Premium Outlets are the best ones in the area (and goodness knows there are enough).

Then Milenia has Maceys and other flag ship stores and is so far as I know the only place that there is a victorias secret - so we have to go there for the DW. Millenia also benefits from Cheesecake factory, making it worth the trip all by itself. Couple that with the largest Target store I have ever seen across the road you can easily spend some serious time and money in the area.

Florida Mall is great for the range of shops.
