but to get the free entry into any AHB park you will get 4 free entry as long as 1 has a valid ID and it doesnot have to be a full serving member it can be your spouse. one thing you need to do though is complete the hero salute application here is the link (http://commerce.4adventure.com/store/os_application.asp) we have used this before and had no problems, i received an email from them a few weeks ago and it confirmed that this offer is still available to UK forces

samnbaz, its only entry for four people at one park once a year (sorry I sound ungreatfull i think that its great that AHB give this offer and extend it to us in the UK)

We went in 2005 and used hubbies ID and got in to Seworld for free. He's now ex R. N. so we'll have to pay this time. They do a salute the heros at the Shamu show, get all the US forces and families, and Allied troops to stand up, oh my, it brought a lump to my throat when, me ,sister and three kids stood up. People were really friendly and one old bloke thanked me for my hubby being in the forces.It made me so proud to have a hubby in the forces.

i wasnt being ungreatful at all!!!! i think its fantastic too i just wanted to know for budgeting purposes as ours is quite tight and i need to allow for things in advance!!! thanks for all your comments, motty i bet id did bring a lump to your throat! it would of done mine!

my post wasnt a go at yours, it was the way i had worded mine, it sounded as if i was been ungreatful, sorry if you thought i was having a go at you.

Dont forget aswell all you forces members Virgin Atlantic give a good discount to us and out families (including mums and dads and the inlaws, i got the discount for my in laws last year although i wish i hadnt now)

as for the standing at the shamu show, i think it makes you feel as if you are 10 feet tall. everyone around you are so proud of us and what we all achieve there isnt many times i openly admit to been in the RN but in the USA they are so proud of there forces they cannot help but to be so thankful

Went to Dine with Shamu in January and was told Police/Fire/Ambulance staff are also eligable with ID card
