Hi, I haven't posted on this forum before but I've had loads of help in the past over on the Florida forums so thought I'd see if anyone has any advice here!
We're going to LA for my husbands work for 3 months from January to March next year :spin: I'm so excited! But I haven't got a clue when would be best to book flights. We will need to fly out straight after Christmas, probably around 27th December and I've got a couple of prices but don't know whether it would be best to book now or hold on. Do scheduled flights in general get reduced closer to departure? Or as it'll be near Christmas are we best to book now to ensure we get seats?
The cheapest direct flights I've found are about £650 one way with Virgin, or I've found seats with Northwest via Minneapolis for £313. Do you think we can do it for less at that time of year?
Another thing I thought of was going with Maxjet to Las Vegas and then driving as their prices were quite reasonable and they look good.
Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
Louise
