We sometimes go to the DTD one....nice comfy seats...last film we saw there was Passion of the Christ....was really strange sat in a cinema with all these Americans who were sobbing throughout the film:confused2

Hi, don't blush ..we go to the cinema everytime.....at least a 2 to 3 times.....to see the latest films and get out of the heat for a few hours.......usually go to pointe orlando...free parking and have a HUGE screen, as well as 12 other screens......have also done small ones, just off the 192..near where fun & wheels ( anyone remember that??? ) used to be.....locals go and it's Cheap!!!

We always go as well. I don't a have a favourite cinema. We usually go to DTD or Pointe Orlando. We go to the City walk one if we are staying at a Universal hotel. The cinema at Fesrival Bay has very comfy seats which recline (OK maybe a bit contraversial on this site).

Kev we went to that small one off the 192 many years ago. Is it called the Ritz or something traditinal like that? Our kids used to adore Fun and Wheels when they were young. We used to end up there most evenings after eating out on the 192 which is where we always used to stay in hotels. - Ah memories :)

I love them both, the DTD one is very comfy though! We usually go to the cinema to cool down and for a rest in the middle of the day.

your right Jools........memories...had great go-karts and the bumper boats!!!!.my kids loved it and it was small enough to let them wander and still keep a eye on them....also done festival Bay too......once a guy passed out in front of us in the queue for drinks and I ran to the guy checking tickets where you first enter.......and he wouldn't leave his post!!!..so I said, I will check the Bloody tickets!!! and he ran over.........guy had a suspected heart attack!!!...and I was sacked with-in minutes !!!!!

:wavey: We have been to the cinema twice while in Florida both times at the City Walk and have enjoyed the experience we booked the Meal Deal last time which basically gets you a meal at selected restaraunts and the admission price to the cinema, we chose the Mowtown Cafe so it was a few years ago but if there was a film that was showiing that hadnt been released in the Uk that we wanted to see i would definately go again

Yes, we always go to see at least one film.
The theatre we like is the one at Celebration, rather like what an old American movie theatre would have been like.
