This is mainly about food, but in order to work out the food, I have ended up making a loose plan.

13 Oct - Fly Out, Arrive Sanford around 1pm, checkin at Boardwalk and probably walk over to Epcot. It would be rude not too :)

Sun - Magic Kingdom for the Kids Extra Magic Hour in Fantasyland. It will probably be busy so we will leave early.

Mon - Animal Kingdom XMH (since we wake up early for the first few days might as well take advantage), Epcot later and 2:30 lunch at Coral Reef

Tues - MGM, Cape May 8pm

Wed - lazy morning, MK Wishes 9pm

Thurs - Bev doing Keys to the Kingdom, Phil looking after the kids. Epcot for Food & Wine in PM, Illuminations

Fri - Phil on Segway Tour, Bev entertaining kids and pulling out hair, Chef Mickeys 8pm

Sat - cry as we leave the Boardwalk, check in at Royal Pacific, head to Universal

Sun - Islands of Adventure Lunch at Mythos - late on check in at Wilderness Lodge

Mon - 2:30 Le Cellier for lunch

Tuesday - bit of a fun girly day. BBB at 9:30 for hair, then to the Photopass studio for photos, 1:30 the girls are off to Wonderland Tea Party and Phil & I are eating at the Grand Floridian Cafe, then we'll probably head to the MK and let the girls show off their posh hairdos.

Wed - Akershus 8:30am - booked this early to walk through the empty park, but am wondering if that's too early for late on in the trip. AK for evening XMH to see the park in the dark.

Thurs Artist Pointe 5:30 Was going to put the kids in the kids club, but i think they will like the menu, so decided to eat early instead so we don't have tired kids in a nice restaurant. We may book the kids club when we get there, if the restaurant doesn't look suitable.

Fri - Final full day and no plans, maybe Mama Melrose and the Fantasmic dinner package??

Sat - no tix for this day, so Cape May Character Breakie and then home.

Also really fancy

Raglan Road
Ghiradelli
& Spoodles

but haven't pre-booked them.

so are you thinking of DDP for the WL portion of the trip then Bev? I can see that being of value to you, and not too restrictive, as you plan on doing TS most nights anyway ...

Well, I was, and then I wasn't, but now I think maybe I am :)

LOL sounds familiar.

I don't think I could make value from DDP for the full duration ..... but for part of it I think you could make it work, based on the above itinerary.

I think I had to make my plan first and then see if DDP fit - when I tried it the other way I got too stressed trying to get the best 'value' out of the plan. This probably isnt the best value, the character breakfasts for example cost a lot less than a meal at Le Cellier, but I've totalled up what we would spend, making some assumptions on what we might order, and with no drinks it comes to $418, add on 15% tip and that's $481.

I;ve worked it out like this

Le Cellier Lunch $82.92
Grand Floridan Cafe OOP
Akershus Breakfast $71.96
Artist Pointe $114.00 (2 credits)
Mama Melrose $89.96
Cape May Café $59.96

The price difference between Mama Melrose at 1 credit, and Artist Point at 2 credits is making me wonder if I am under-estimating AP. But the priciest bit of AP will probably be the wine.
