In a bit of a quandry at the moment. Would like to request an area to stay at all stars Movies but which accommodation block is best? Have DD age 9 and DS age 6 Would like a fairly quiet area for at night time but close enough for food, transport, pools etc. Have booked a preferred room so does that limit us to which area?
101 Damations? Mighty Ducks? Fantasia? Love Bug? or Toy Story?
Any help and advice would be much appreciated
Jackie:)

just been reading you Travel counsellor web site. Do you know what area the preferred rooms are or do each of them have preferred rooms?
I see you'll be at the best place on earth at the same time as us where are you staying?
Jackie
I agree, we stayed in the 101 dalmations block, a very good location, not at all noisy in the evenings or mornings, but close enough to the pool's, food court ect!:wavey:

This ones easy!! The Mighty Ducks!!!! Bear with me on this one....
It has its own pool...well, it was very quiet when we were there. Its quiet as it is the furthest away block so not many people hanging around and best of all......its the closest block to the food court!!!!! Yeah I know, that doesn't make sense. The food court we used was the all star music one. Its just behind the MD block. Very very quick to walk to. Even quicker to walk to the Music bus stop. It was perfect. When they split the busses up when coming out of the parks you have two to choose from too!
Loved the theming of the Fantasia and Toy Story buildings though. Just wouldn't want to stay in them.

Cannavar, for standard rooms I totally agree with you, but for someone who has booked preferred, but are not drawn to any one particular theme, then I would still say Dalmations.
Another vote for Dalmations:D

you are best to get it noted on your reservation, either with your tour operator OR if booked with Disney then call the reservation team and get it noted. Try and not be too restrictive and I'd limit it to 3 requests e.g. Non Smoking; Dalmations; Courtyard View/Upper Floor/1st Floor
THEN approx 5 days before you go you can fax over, although this holds less weight than the notes in the actual reservation itself and fax to 001 407 939 7111

We stayed in MD last year and hadn't considered doing that. Very sneaky...well done !
