On site hotels and transport

DH and I are considering one night onsite after a special meal at the Contemporary. Having looked at prices, the Contemporary is coming out a bit pricey, so I wonder if another resort would be doable.
I would also like to link this to using EMH as an onsite guest.

so....if I chose (for example) Port Orleans could we check in there, go for an early dinner at Contemporary (say 5pm) then to MK for EMH in the evening. Then, at about midnight get transport from TTC to Port Orleans.

Would this work? Would we count as resort guests n the day of check out too and be able to access emh at another park on that day too?

Any ideas?

Don't see why it wouldn't work, check out in the am is about 10am I think, so you could go to a morning extra magic hour & try to be back in time to check out, or maybe ask for later check out ? not sure if you'd get into the extra magic hour if you checked out of your room first ?

You will be able to get a bus right from MK to your resort after EMH, the bus stops are just to the left of the park entrance as you exit, no need to go to the TTC.

You can ask for express check out so you are automatically checked out without having to go to the front desk which would give you time to go to morning EMH without worrying about check out time.
