. . . . two holidays booked at the same time!!!! We are off as a family in August to Las Vegas and Anaheim and then today I booked for hubby and me to go to Gran Canaria next May as we will have been married 25 years on the 28th May 2008!! :pgig: :pgig: We will be away over our actual 25th anniversary, it's what we wanted to do, just the two of us. The kids will then be 22 and 15 and can do without us for the week!!

We booked this years holiday knowing it would probably be the last time we all went as a family (at least when I am paying for each person!), DS is now 21 and nearly finished Uni and so can pay his own way shortly! DD is 14 and likes going on short breaks to Paris with my sister soak up the culture.

Please don't think we have won the lottery or anything! I booked via First Choice today, low deposit of £60, balance next March. Life is too short not to do these things!!

Good for you !!

I totally agree about life being too short.

Last year i was away 5 times :omg: , never in my life before have i dont this but it was wonderful. 3 of them were only 3 day trips away in Milan, Dublin etc but the others were Orlando and i brought in New Year in 06 in Times Square.

This year ive only got the one booked for November but im in planning to book for July too. Moneys good to have in the bank but you cant take it with you and as long as i have enough to see my kids ok if and when i go then im gonna enjoy the rest !!

you will have a fab time and Happy Anniversary when it comes around !! :thumbs-up

Go have a lovely time and don't stress I live from one holiday to the next, two booked at once would be a dream. Mind you that said when we got married we had three booked, a weekend away, the honeymoon and a family trip to DLP.
