Here's our first stab, we're aiming to have an idea of what we're doing each day without planning every detail each day.

Our party is DW (Non planner), DD9 (Planner) , DS4 (Too young to plan), FIL, MIL and me DH (Planner).

Tuesday 15th May - Fly Plymouth to Gatwick ;)

Wednesday 16th May - VA 10:45am to Orlando, pick up hire car, keys to villa in Kissimmee and WALMART for supplies:o: :pgig:

Thursday 17th May - Animal Kingdom

Friday 18th May - Magic Kingdom

Saturday 19th May - EPCOT

Sunday 20th May - Rest day, hang out at villa not sure what to do in the evening maybe a show or something like that:zzz:

Monday 21st May - Typhoon Lagoon (DD/my favourite)

Tuesday 22nd May - Trip to the coast not sure which one out of Cocoa beach or Clearwater

Wednesday 23rd May - Shopping and Downtown Disney in the evening.:D

Thursday 24th May - Disney MGM Studios:d:.

Friday 25th May - Island of Adventure:cool2:

Saturday 26th May - Free day not sure, might visit a park we've already visited.

Sunday 27th May - Universal Studios

Monday 28th May - Blizzard Beach:pgig:

Tuesday 29th May - Seaworld

Wednesday 30th May - Gatorland on way back to Airport for evening flight home:cry:

We've based this on our tickets which are Disney 7 day Premium, Universal 2 days + 1 free and one day for Seaworld and have used the busy day guides to go to the parks on light days.

Any advice from you experienced DIBBERS would be gratefully received.

It's looking good. Your family may like a game of mini golf on the evening of the 20th. Have you got your Seaworld tickets? They usually come with a second day free providing you use them within 7 days. You may be able to fit another visit in there. There is an excellent kiddie play area there that I reckon your DD and DS would enjoy.

That looks like a great plan! On our rest nights we are going to have a walk round The Broadwalk

Hi

We are from Plymouth also but we drive up to Gatwick when we go Florida, did the flight up set you back much as that may be an option for us in the future?

Your plans seem ok, although you have only set aside 1 day for MK and it will take 2 at least to get the most from it. Some people also say that you need 2 days at Epcot, although we didnt to be honest.

The water parks will only take you about half a day each so you can get a rest or shopping or whatever on these days as well. You seem to be looking forward to the water parks, have you thought about Wet N Wild? More "thrill" type rides there and I personally enjoy it more than the Disney parks, although feelings vary wildly on here with regard to this!

All looks good, mini golf is an good idea for an evening as well as disney quest, my kids love that but i wouldnt waste a day on it.
Only thing i would say your first 3 days are all going to be long days as you are only going to those parks once, it will be very tiring, maybe you could slot your rest day or typhoon lagoon day in between the 3 parks

One thing to bear in mind is you will be in some parks later than others - eg at Magic Kingdom for the spectromagic parade and fireworks. We always have an easier day the day after. I would recommend Orlando Premium Outlets for shopping, located off the I4, we picked up some brilliant bargains there. We did a crazy golf on one of our rest days, it was on the 192, and they had baby alligators you could feed. Great for a couple of hours, what about a bbq around the pool for the rest of your day.

Hi Burbs, nice to see a fellow Plymouthian on the Dibb, we're in Plympton, how about you?

The flights have cost us £33 each way, so £264.00 for the 4 of us all in. But the thought of driving back home again with two kids after an overnight flight is too much!

Thanks for your advice!

Hi we are from Looseleigh, near Southway.

We arrived back into Gatwick at 6am Sunday morning after no sleep on the flight over then I had to drive home, it was a nightmare and never again, that seems a real good price, could definatly be an option when we go again next year.

Have a good one.
