Hi Guys,

Just started itinery and would like some advice please, we were thinking about going to seaworld on the 4th July. Has anyone got any views on this?

We are aware of wdw being extreamly busy so staying well away from those.

Other options would be a rest day/shopping day.

Any suggestions would be grateful.

Thanks

Cheryl

Personally, I'd go for a rest day - that's what I have in our itinerary for 4th July! I'd imagine every park would be bunged to the gills ao have planned a sunbathing day with a possible trip into Celebration in the evening.

I remember queuing to get into seaworld on a 'normal' day. The national anthem was played and it seemed all the crowd sang along with it. Plus during the Shamu show they showed a video about returning soldiers from Iraq etc, that really got the crowd going too. They are very patriotic imo, so god knows what it's like on 4th July!

We will be there on 4th July and expect all the parks to be jammed pack so this was going to be a lazy day. If I find out about any parades/celebrations in the area will go there.

Maybe everyone is planning a rest day, and you'll have the place to yourself.... oh well, maybe not :tounge:

We went to Seaworld in the late afternoon of the 4th July last year.

It was very busy but we did manage to get on Kraken without much of a queue. The firework display/projection show was good but I would recommend staking out a good spot about an hour before the show time as we had a poor view.

Did you notice if the Shamu show was a special one for July 4th or was it the same as any other day.
