Hi Dibbers

Which shopping Mall is the biggest with the most shops??

"But we must not forget the shopping allowance, which is £145 per person, after which time one has to pay tax on their goods. So if you can only spend £145, it’s important that you know where to get your bargains! This is the intention of this article".

Found the above statement on this site. Sould we really pay much attention to spending this amount. My daughter can spend this in the first desinger shop she finds.

I woud say that the Florida Mall is the biggest ... but in my opinion not the best. We prefer the Premium Outlets in lake buena vista. Or for serious designer shopping then Mall at Millenia may be what you are looking for.

Hi...with Paula on this, we always go out with one case each and a holdall in the bottom of it thats packed on our return, we just take all the labels out of jeans shirts etc and dont use origional packaging for boxed goods.
I always get a migrane when she mentions Mall of Millenia

Would disagree on the time to drive down there.
Took us about hours a few years ago and we didn't hang about! Depending on traffic could take longer.

Saw grass mills is definitely 3-4 hours from Orlando, approx 210 miles. Fort Lauderdale area.

Don't forget £145 = $279 approx per person !! Sounds better that way I feel ;)

Sawgrass Mills is just outside Fort Lauderdale, close to the Turnpike, and it is huge. When we drove up from F.Lauderdale year before last it took over 4 hours with a short stop.

For me in Orlando Florida Mall is the best bet as it has the best range of shops.

You should if you don't want your thread deleted! It's one of the rules of the Dibb that you don't post about trying to avoid paying duty or encourage others to do so.

Clearwater is only a couple of hours drive from Orlando. You could spend a few hours at the beach then go to the Countryside Mall there. It's quite large and has an ice skating rink in the centre.
