We buy anual passes every 2nd year so that 1 year we buy them and if all goes to plan we book the following year 2-3 weeks earlier so they are still valied I find the Universal 2 park anual pass great value we buy 1 preferred pass as this gives you all the benefits of free parking and the 20% discounts on merchandise and food then just buy the rest of us standard passes we always buy the passes on line at the Universal Studios official site they send you a ticket to get past the gate then you go to guest relations to activate and recieve your anual passes
