we really loved CBR. Stayed there Nov 2006 and Jan of this year. Spotlessly
clean, great room, lovely staff. Our room overlooked the beach at Martinique.
We could see fireworks at Epcot although not all of them. Had a meal in the restaurant a few times and they were lovely. Will most certainly go back.

We liked it but prefered POFQ.

Although its ten years since we have been its still our favourite. We have stayed at a couple of others and visited a few more but CBR would be top of the list.

We stayed there last December and really enjoyed it:spin: The food court was always busy in the mornings but the rest of the day was fine. The beaches are lovely and clean and the hammocks great fun to get in and out of:pgig:

DW and i have stayed at all the moderate resorts and CBR is by far our favourite (although we do love them all). The resort is beautiful to wander around, the pools are fantastic and the food court excellent. To top it all relax in a hammock on the beach with your fave cocktail and watch the Epcot fireworks...magical!!

Hi we have just got back and have to say our room was clean and tidy, the beds were the MOST comfortable I have ever slept in, the 'village' pools were quiet and well worth visiting, when the sun was out (which wasn't all the time!) the resort looked beautiful, the fridge and adjustable air con were great.
The hammocks were fun but the beaches were sometimes busy with young groups of people (lots of baseball training youth groups at the time) but we didn't have time to sit there anyway! A little disappointed that the Caribbean music was NOT piped around the resort, it was only playing in The Old Port Royale (food court).
Having stayed at All Star Movies we didn't find the huge difference that we were expecting having paid 'moderate' prices, having said that the resort was fine, not disappointing at all. If you like a quiet, beautiful place away from the parks, this is for you. :thumbs-up
If you have any specific questions please ask:)

Sorry to hi-jack Kitpools thread, but could I ask you what island you stayed on? Did you make a request to the resort before you went?

We requested via Virgin a room near Old Port Royale and this was detailed on our itinerary. We got Martinique block 23 (village next to Old Port Royale) and it was good, not too far to walk (but there were at least 3 or 4 blocks nearer). Trinidad South did seem a long way away and abit cut off but the rest seemed ok, not too far.
Hope this helps:thumbs-up

It does indeed - it sounds great - can't wait....

Can I be cheeky and just ask one more thing - was the Martinique building you requested one of the 'preferred' locations - ie did you have to pay more for it?

Thanks,

Alex.
