Stayed there a few years ago, it's a large estate of what is probably considered older houses many built in early 90's or even before. It 's close to the attractions as well. As for the pub I can only think of the pubs on the 192 an Irish bar , if you are near the back of the Lindfields estate it is a fair old walk to there 20 -30 mins, do you know the street name where you are staying, you can google earth it and see for yourself

Lindfields is a lovely estate. We stayed twice in a villa in Piccadilly circle. We last went in 2000 and don't remember a pub on the corner, but we did find that you will need a car to get to most places. There is a Publix and Goodings supermarket close by and some good places to eat (don't miss 'Outback Steakhouse'!! :tounge: )

We've Stayed There, It's On The 192. It's A Lovely Estate. There's A Pub Called "The Stage Door" Which Is Okay Unless You're Ordering Food [[Long Wait!!]] There's One Called JT's Which We LOVE!!!!!!

Not Too Sure About The Rest Though, Hope This Helps.

There is a pub, just inside the Lindfields turning as you turn off the 192, called Castaway Key Tiki Bar i think. We stayed nearly next door to it, at Villas at Island Club, but never went in. They always had a Union Jack outside, i think it could be British.

I'd have thought its a long walk from the Lindfields villas, although its handy for the condo communities around there.:)

Lindfields is very big so depending on where you are staying you could be quite a long walk from anything. A car is essential, you can't even shop for food without one!

Hi

The Castaway Bar at Mango Key is now owned by a British Couple and was for use by Mango Key residents/visitors only - Unfortunately they had opened it to all comers - a Local Resident complained about this and so they fell foul of Osceola County zoning restrictions. There are currently talks taking place to try to resolve the issue. So unfortunately for the owners and for the time being it remains closed. Which is a shame as our property is just around the corner.
JT's is a fairly nice place & used frequently by the locals also Houlihans has a very nice outside Bar area.

I believe there is a British style Pub near the Junction of 192 West and SR27 although we have never used it.

We stayed in Lindfields last year (Paddington Way ?), really enjoyed both the villa and the area which is nice and close to all the parks etc. and are considering going back to same one next year (no internet though and that may be an issue, due to work :( ). There is free internet access at the library on 192 just down from the Lindfields junction though.

Shame about the pub at top of the road being closed, we popped in a couple of times and the owners (and family) were really pleasant and helpful. Hope they get sorted out and opened up quickly.
