I just see a clip on You tube and i noticed that they were scanning there finger
and entering there pass, do you now have to do this, because this was not there when i went in 2004 just curious xxxxxx
Yes some parks are scanning your fingers and checking your passes. It happened at most of the parks we went to last year. Some even made you sign in and checked the signature on the back of your
pass.

Was just one finger scanning as couple of weeks ago at all WDW parks, although they did not seem to be on at peak periods of the day

We have used the scan a finger but most times it did'nt work so they had to do a re-scan(which re-sets the scan to your new scan) :confused2 but it never stopped us getting into the park. I think once I had to sign.

Disney and Universal both had the finger scanners (for the adults only) in Sept last year - just make sure that you make a note on the back of the tickets who each ticket belongs to cos this could be a mightmare if all the tickets were kept together (DH had them in his wallet).

We were finger scanned at all the parks last week - please take care where you keep your tickets though as we had to have ours replaced twice as they had 'demagnetised' - usually due to being kept close to a mobile phone/credit card or as in our case in the same handbag as my camera case which had a magnetic clasp!

I think that the ones at universal do scan your finger print. But I think the ones at disney don't actually scan your finger print, rather; they go on the shape and size of the two fingers used.
